Opportunities
A St. Thomas Tradition Continues . .
.
Join us Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 pm in Church as
we pray to Our Blessed Mother in a “Living Rosary”
Everyone is invited to take part in
this beautiful STV event. Come, pray with us from the pew,
or participate in a special way by signing up to “be a bead”
and recite the Hail Mary as the rosary winds its way around
the church. We will be praying the Luminous Mysteries.
Families, singles, couples; all are welcome to “be a bead”
at this special parish gathering. Call Marilyn at the parish
office with questions or to sign up to “be a bead”. We will
conclude the evening with a May Crowning.

CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH/ST.
THOMAS PADS SITE
PADS (Public
Action to Deliver Shelter) is dedicated to providing
hospitality, food, shelter and clothing to the homeless from
October 1 through April 30. One of these PADS sites is located
in Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) (41 South Rohlwing
Rd.,Palatine). This site is run by volunteers from CLC and St.
Thomas of Villanova Church (STV). The CLC site is open every
SUNDAY night during the PADS season. Volunteers consistently
report a spiritual return and a personal thankfulness from
this service that goes far beyond the few hours they spend
doing it. Can you join us in doing this simple yet exceptional
service? YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
