After careful consideration, we have created a Christmas Mass schedule according to the amount of volunteers that have signed up to help setup, greet/usher and cleanup on Christmas Eve and Day.
THANK YOU to all the volunteers who are offering their time to help on these days so our Parish Family can celebrate the birth of our Lord.
Please remember: Due to the pandemic the dispensation from the obligation of Sunday and Holy Day Masses for all Catholics within the Archdiocese of Chicago remains in force. Those faithful initiated into the Most Holy Eucharist who are unable to participate in-person are encouraged to participate via livestream / broadcast and offer an Act of Spiritual Communion, in union with the entire People of God in the archdiocese and throughout the world in this time of stress and difficulty.
Gratefully, we are able to offer the following Masses with 125 attendees maximum at each Mass:

All who wish to attend Mass will be REQUIRED to sign-up.

- NOTE: Each individual person wishing to attend Mass must be registered. For example, a wife and husband would each need to register.
- If you (or if you know someone) are not able to register online due to a lack of computer / internet access, please call the parish at 847-358-6999. Someone will get back to you and help you register, if spots are available.
- Pre-Mass registration needs to be done to allow for the current mandate which requires large gatherings to offer a system of contact tracing if someone gets sick. Attendance records will be destroyed every 14 days.
- Seats will be sanitized before each Mass and social distancing will be observed at all times.
Registration opens at 9:00 am on 12/11 and closes at 12:00 pm on 12/23.
Over the past few months, many routine events have changed. Preparing yourself for what to expect can ease the anticipation and confusion. We've created this guide to help you understand the changes to your usual Mass experience at St. Thomas of Villanova. All our efforts have been driven by the desire to reopen our church for worship while protecting the physical health and well-being of all who enter our church.
Please, please be patient with the process. Let's remember we are one body in Christ.
