Catechists |
|
Persons are needed
to lead "small groups" of children in Preschool through
eight grade. Small groups begin in
mid-September and continue through late March. Each session
is 1 1/2 hours.
Formation and support is provided. |

Substitute
Catechists |
|
Substitutes are needed to be on call when one of the regular
catechists is unable to be at a session.
|
|
Hall Monitors |
|
Volunteers are needed to monitor the halls during class time.
This can be either a monthly or an alternate week commitment.
|
|
Vacation
Bible School |
|
Vacation Bible School is a week long summer program which
emphasizes song, stories, art, and play as means by which we bring
children closer to God. Our volunteer staff is comprised of
adults and junior high students.

SPRED |
|
Special Religious Education bring Christ into the lives of the
mentally educable children and adults. The program here at
St. Thomas meets every Wednesday evening for approximately 2 hours
from September to May. Training is provided. |

Children's Liturgy
of the Word |
|
Children ages 4 - 7 are invited to
gather in church in a small group at the beginning of our 9:30
mass to explore the day's readings at their level.
